honor the culture™ - "brooklyn bomber'" vinyl sticker
The galleries were closed, so we painted the trains. This celebrates the rolling steel canvases that defined New York City's visual identity. Before Instagram, if you wanted to go "All City," you had to hit the metal. This sticker captures the adrenaline, the risk, and the undeniable style of the subway graffiti era.
The Design: Rolling Thunder This high-fidelity die-cut sticker features a vintage silver subway car, heavily weathered and "bombed" with layers of colorful tags and throw-ups. It captures the gritty texture of the urban decay era, where every inch of the train was a battleground for writers. The rollsign displayed at the top reads "BROOKLYN-BOUND", signaling the destination of this mobile masterpiece.
The Meaning: The Mobile Canvas The "Brooklyn Bomber" isn't just a train; it's a time capsule. It represents the era when art moved at 40 miles per hour, connecting the boroughs through a language only the initiated could read. It honors the writers who owned the night and turned public transit into public art.
